Fully funding emergency childcare for over 3,600 essential workers during the pandemic
The Colorado Emergency Child Care Collaborative covered childcare expenses for 3,605 families and 5,271 children at 525 childcare providers from March 23, 2020 through May 24, 2020. MetrixIQ successfully processed over 36,000 attendance records, resulting in $10.6 million in payments to providers.

The Problem
Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, essential personnel throughout the state needed reliable child care to continue working. The Colorado Department of Human Services stepped in to provide funding for care provided to over 5,200 children of essential personnel during the spring of 2020.
The Metrix Solution
MetrixIQ was hired to build technology and operations systems for managing provider and family enrollment, attendance tracking, and payment calculations.
In addition to developing a robust administrative database, MetrixIQ built a web-based portal for childcare providers to confirm enrollments, add students to their roster, report weekly attendance, and download payment reports.
