The Problem
The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) was established in July 2022 and simultaneously was preparing to launch a brand new, statewide preschool funding program. The Department was faced with tight timelines to launch Colorado Universal Preschool and securely distribute public funds for its inaugural 2023-2024 program year.
The Solution
MetrixIQ was selected to support the implementation of the payment operations and technology system. Additionally, MetrixIQ partnered with local coordinating organizations to help families and providers navigate the program. MetrixIQ seamlessly delivers customer service for both program elements through a central, segregated help desk. MetrixIQ developed a customized CRM to generate payments for each eligible child and maintain accurate payment program information, enabling timely monthly payments for over 40,000 preschoolers. The team works closely with CDEC to determine payment eligibility and supports providers with questions, payment issues and resolutions.
